Much less polemic or fraud with conflict than I was expecting, “Stan & Ollie” is still a captivating story of how one of the greatest comedic duos fell apart due to bad expectations, money, bad heatlh, lack of money, marriage, and money problems. John C. Reilly disappeared completely into his character, and while I wasn’t overly familiar with Steve Coogan, he was pitch perfect as Stan Laurel.
