The Gray Man

The Gray Man: Directed by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo. With Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton. When the CIA’s most skilled operative-whose true identity is known to none-accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins.

It’s a Netflix film, dumping ground for some pretty junky films, so it’s always nice to watch a film on their streaming service that’s actually good, which “The Gray Man” is not just good, it was a down right enjoyable film on every level I can think of. Chris Evans continues to chew up every scene he’s in now that he’s no longer the Captain of America and Ryan Gosling is slowing redeeming himself in my movie memories. There’s a few other fun actors that show up, I didn’t recognize Billy Bob Thornton until he started talking, as he’s looking really good now, and I have a visceral emotional reaction every time I see Ana de Armas, she’s simply one of the best actresses on the silver screen right now.
