The Pope’s Exorcist: Directed by Julius Avery. With Russell Crowe, Daniel Zovatto, Alex Essoe, Franco Nero. Follow Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican’s leading exorcist, as he investigates the possession of a child and uncovers a conspiracy the Vatican has tried to keep secret. For a ridiculous possession movie, this wasn’t half bad, with some pretty ok acting, a simple enough story, and some special effects that worked for me, particularly once they got to the final battle arena and they found the demon.
