Velocity Weapon
I didn’t realize this was book one of a series when I started the book and due to a series of various illnesses, car accidents, and just general life duties it took me 2 months to get through this story. It’s not the story’s fault, I greatly enjoyed the uniquely satisfying way that author Megan O’Keefe molded and used various tropes of the genre. I would have been happier if this was a one and done, but I guess I’ll be swapping between the books in this series and lighter fair for the next year or so.
