“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” Review

Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter Parker he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see.

It’s been a full week since I’ve seen “Spider-man: Brand New Day” and during that time it’s started to close in on nearly 2 BILLION dollars in box office income, which is a mind boggling amount of money for a movie in a genre that many people have worried is experiencing “fatigue”. Turns out when you take your time on the script, take your times on the plot, and take your time with the filming, you get a product that works pretty well. Doesn’t hurt to include one of the world’s most loved superheroes as portrayed by one of the industry’s most beloved actors.

It’s clear that Spidey is in good hands with Disney and it’s just as clear that Sony is going to be involved for as long as they possibly can, after all they can nearly sit back and make some serious money with very little effort and financial risk.
