“Night Visions” Review
I think I watched about 3 full episodes of this on TikTok before I found it streaming on the Roku channel, it’s a 2001 suspense / horror show in the style of The Twilight Zone, but instead of Rod Serling doing book end statements for each segment, it’s Henry Rollins, which is definitely an odd choice for what pretends to be a thinking man’s show on the human condition. He’s not bad at the role or moral statement presenter, but I wouldn’t have pegged him as being interested in this type of show. It was originally shown on the now defunct “Chiller” channel and owned by Paramount and features a large number of people that were nearly famous when the series was on and went on to bigger things. Amy Jo Johnson, Luke Perry, Amy Jo Johnson, Luke Perry, Lou Diamond Phillips, Timothy Olyphant, Malcolm McDowell, and Thora Birch are among a much larger cast that all get their own stories that range from some exceptionally fun stuff to ponder to some really goofy ones that are better off forgotten.
If you’re a fan of the Black Mirror or The Twilight Zone, this will interest you.
