Wild: Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée. With Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Gaby Hoffmann, Thomas Sadoski. A chronicle of one woman’s 1,100-mile solo hike undertaken as a way to recover from a recent personal tragedy.

My wife hadn’t seen it and she wanted to watch something interesting. I warned her this was going to be much more extreme than she was likely looking for, but I think she still enjoyed herself.
