My washing machine broke
This is my 15 year old washing machine: TL;DR: the master control board on it is fried, it’s not made anymore so I had to spend $400 on a used washer to replace it. This is after the nightmare of having the floors redone in my house (maybe one day I’ll write about that?) and several other frustrating things happening all at the same time. Actually no, they’ve been nice enough to be sequential, which is the best way to have frustrations in life, just one after another so you can never catch your breath, but at least you don’t get overloaded!
The problem with the machine presented as it not being able to drain, so I spent money on a new drain pump, but sadly the same problems kept happening. First time I’ve called an appliance company out, and while all they were able to do was confirm my own diagnostics, they were kind enough to sell me a used unit they had sitting around in a warehouse.
