“De blob” Review

De blob: Directed by Douglas Carrigan. With Dee Bradley Baker, Corey Burton, Cam Clarke, Chris Cox. When Chroma City is invaded by the sinister INKT Corporation, the titular blob must set out to restore color to the city and its citizens.

I played these out of order, finishing “de Blob 2” back in 2018 and loved every single aspect of that game, so when I saw the original game was on xbox for just a couple bucks I jumped at the chance to purchase and play it. It doesn’t have all the same game mechanics of the sequel, but it has the same banging soundtrack and game loop where you land in a colorless city and have to paint it various colors all in rhyme with music that really pops. The franchise is honestly one of the best single player experiences I’ve had, so if you ever have the opportunity to check them out, I highly suggest it.
