“Leave the World Behind” Review
If you haven’t seen the internet’s buzz about the ending, I’ll say that while the ending isn’t one that the general public is going to fall head over heels for, this is still a captivating look at how people react to the strange or other wise unexpected. There’s a few really big names in the film, but Julia Roberts kills it as a mother who’s well past the limits of what she’s able to process in a situation that continues to spin further and further out of controls.
I was additionally impressed with the sound mix, it really used my surround sound to it’s fullest extent and I believe this was one of the few films that hit the absolute limits of how high or low it could go.
