This time Astra hits the road and visits some places that may or may not exist, but are definitely in trouble! It’s another good entry in the WTC franchise, though there weren’t many novel uses of superpowers, something that I’m going to admit to being spoiled by the first three books. This time around there’s plenty of new stuff with magic, which is much less up my alley than the standard superhero stuff, and there’s plenty of new Ozma content, the deposed princess of Oz. Yes, that Oz. This is a weird universe that Astra lives in. The resolution of the story is about as good as I could expect and my expectations were pretty high.
