The Peripheral
The season isn’t over with yet at the time that I’m writing this, but I’m so happy with what they’re doing so far that I figured I’d throw it out there to suggest that you watch it before the end of the year. It’s included with Amazon Prime and the story is a near future / not so near future / VR / “what really is real anyways” type of thing that has very well done internal consistency and a cast that plays well with each other. I’ve long been a fan of Chloe Moretz’s work, but have found the projects she’s most interested in as a solo actor don’t work for me as a fan, but these ensemble works really do seem to appeal to me.
