“The Running Man” Review

The Running Man: Directed by Edgar Wright. With Glen Powell, Alyssa Benn, Sienna Benn, David Zayas. A man joins a game show in which contestants, allowed to go anywhere in the world, are pursued by “hunters” hired to kill them.

A great reimagining of the story of a national show full of bloodlust, violence, and gratuitous nudity of Glen Powell. The plot itself gets pretty bad once the third act hits and it vaporized my suspension of disbelief when everyone kept assuming that the corporation that has never kept its word was going to keep its word when it made some final deals.

It was still a fun ride, I just wish they had gone in a different direction with the final edit.
