“Peacemaker” Season 2 Review

Peacemaker: Created by James Gunn. With John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland. Picking up where The Suicide Squad (2021) left off, Peacemaker returns home after recovering from his encounter with Bloodsport – only to discover that his freedom comes at a price.

A fun but meandering season that slightly changes the prior season so that this season (but not the prior season) fits in the new DCCU that James Gunn is running. There’s plenty of goofy stuff that doesn’t work, but there’s also plenty of goofy stuff that does work. Not much about this character (or the series itself) isn’t goofy.
