“Love, Death & Robots” Season 4 Review

Love, Death & Robots: Created by Tim Miller. With Fred Tatasciore, Scott Whyte, Emily O’Brien, Nolan North. A collection of animated short stories that span various genres including science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy.

Season 4 is here and it brings a ton of great stuff along with a couple that are less than great, but no stinkers this season!

S4.E1 ∙ Can’t Stop – Stupid concept, but excellent execution, I hope they never do this again, because again, it’s a very dumb concept.

S4.E2 ∙ Close Encounters of the Mini Kind – Another entry in the tilt shifted end of the world series, this one has aliens!

S4.E3 ∙ Spider Rose – The best of the season imho, a heartbroken tech-enhanced human finds friendship while fighting off alien invaders. I loved the character designs and where they went with the story.

S4.E4 ∙ 400 Boys – The best kind of surreal apocalyptic story with some bonkers visuals. I didn’t actually like the sum total but nearly every part of this was unique to me, and thus I want more of it.

S4.E5 ∙ The Other Large Thing – Cat and robots, what a lovely combination!

S4.E6 ∙ Golgotha – Live action with CGI, what if space Jesus was found here on Earth, but in the sea? how would humanity react? The answer is poorly. This one was great.

S4.E7 ∙ The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur – Great story with some goofy dinosaurs, I didn’t like all the parts, but the sum product was fantastic.

S4.E8 ∙ How Zeke Got Religion – If you’ve played (and liked) any of the Sniper Elite games with the supernatural nazi zombies, this is going to be right up your alley. I loved the visuals, but this not an episode for the feint of heart.

S4.E9 ∙ Smart Appliances, Stupid Owners – Very short, but very cute story of appliances and their owners and how they react to what their people are doing to them.

S4.E10 ∙ For He Can Creep – Another cat episode! This one is a fantastic supernature one with the devil himself, it’s spooky AND fun!
