I’m a father

After nearly 10 years of trying, thousands spent on IVF and other ART methods, giving up, then just having it happen by natural means, I’m officially a father to a baby son. He arrived back on February 9th, 2026 and it’s been until today that I had my head straight again to think to update my own site with the news. The entire thing was an absolute trip, but everything with the c-section went smoothly and he’s been happy, healthy, and well fed ever since.

I do miss being able to sleep through the night though, that’s just a distant memory, but one that I remember fondly.

Oh my to do list though is to trim my beard to a length that won’t let him inhale it into his mouth when he’s on my chest.
