Alien: Resurrection

Alien: Resurrection: Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. With Sigourney Weaver, Winona Ryder, Dominique Pinon, Ron Perlman. 200 years after her death, Ellen Ripley is revived as a powerful human/alien hybrid clone. Along with a crew of space pirates, she must again battle the deadly aliens and stop them from reaching Earth.

“Terror is reborn in the shocking conclusion to the Alien saga!”

Yeah I guess this really was the last of the solo Alien films, they really couldn’t figure out where to go without tying the franchise with the Predators, which is a damn shame, there’s literally hundreds of Xeno only books and comic books out there with some really quality stories that they could have picked up on or adapted. I never understood how the Xeno ended up in the clone of Ripley, like, wtf happened there? did someone just not understand how clowning actually works? I did love the miniatures and creature designs, but the film was visually too dark for my tastes.
